The installer shows downloaded size, total size, speed, and estimated time remaining. It also shows the current stage: fetching the manifest, downloading, writing files, or verifying.
When the total size is unknown, the installer shows downloaded size and speed without inventing a percentage.
Cancel at any time
Any install can be canceled, and after canceling you are told what was left on the machine.
Installation requires no external script prompts or separate package manager.
