By usage. What each call costs depends on the model you choose and the length of the conversation: pricier models and very long context cost more. Credits are shown to two decimal places; a real charge never shows as 0, and a positive charge smaller than 0.01 shows as "less than 0.01".
The credits a membership gives each period don't roll over; they reset when the period ends. Credits from top-up packs and the sign-up gift go into non-expiring credits and never reset. Spending draws on the current period's allowance first, then on non-expiring credits, so buying a top-up pack never wastes the period allowance you have already paid for.
You are not charged automatically. Renew your membership manually, and we remind you before yours ends. If you don't renew, you drop back to Free, and your non-expiring credits still work.
Yes. Top-up packs are available on every tier, including Free. Buying one doesn't change your tier; it only adds non-expiring credits. Currently ¥1 = 0.3 credits, or about ¥3.33 per credit.
No. Quarterly = monthly price × 3, annual = monthly price × 12, and the credits per period are exactly the same as monthly. A longer term buys time and convenience, not a lower price. Annual plans still refresh period by period; you don't get the whole year's credits up front.
No. Upgrading only charges the difference: the unused part of your current tier is credited, you pay the rest, and a full new period starts right away. Periods that haven't started are credited in full; the period in progress is credited by whichever is smaller, remaining days or remaining credits. So if you have already used up this period's credits, upgrading credits nothing for it. Downgrading isn't supported during an active term; you return to Free automatically when it ends.
Both work. With platform models, usage is charged to your gugu credits. Or use your own models and API keys, without changing your existing setup or spending gugu credits.
Not when models are called through gugu. We only record the request counts, token counts and durations needed for billing; we don't store what you send to models or their replies, and we don't sell any data. Separately, chat history in the gugu app is stored in the cloud to sync between your computer and phone; see the Privacy Policy.
5 credits on sign-up, added to non-expiring credits and given once. They don't reset with periods, and they don't expire if you later change tiers or your membership ends. It isn't extra allowance; it just means you don't have to wait a full period (30 days) to have enough for one complete task.
